The
Model CL-180IJ Captex Automated Pants System, designed
for the industrial launderer, is a rotating carousel legger
press with two sets of heads so, while one station is
pressing, another is loading. It also offers an optional
automatic unloader, automatic hanging device and programmable
temperature control to lower the temperature for the pressing
of expensive flame retardant garments which cannot be
pressed at normal temperatures. The machine has very heavy
duty construction and a programmable microprocessor controlling
all functions and de-skilling the operator. Considerable
tumbler fuel savings
(as much as 268 cubic feet
of gas per load) and tumbler total cycle time
savings (drying and cool-down
of as much as 50%
) are achievable since the garments no longer need to
be fully dried prior to pressing.
